Responsible Gaming Policy

As a legal gambling operator in accordance with Act No. 186/2016 Coll., GELP s.r.o. fully respects and supports reasonable and justified regulation of the industry, aimed, among other things, at preventing pathological gambling and the participation of minors in gambling.

The most reliable protection against developing an addiction is always the player's responsible approach based on an informed decision, taking into account their financial capabilities and the principles of responsible gaming. We believe that, in moderation, gaming is not a cause for concern or worry.

Underage Gambling

Participation in gambling by persons under the age of 18 is illegal in the Czech Republic in accordance with Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling, as amended. For all our clients, age verification is carried out as part of the identification process through the population register maintained by the state administration. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to proceed with registration and are therefore not allowed to participate in gambling.

We take the prohibition of underage gambling seriously. If you suspect that a minor is using our website, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can take immediate and appropriate action.

How to Keep Betting and Gaming Under Control

We strongly recommend adhering to the following rules:

  • Gaming is purely for entertainment, not a source of income
  • Set self-limiting measures with regard to your financial capabilities
  • Never bet more than you can afford to lose
  • Stick to your predetermined gaming budget
  • Do not increase your bets in an attempt to recover lost money
  • Decide in advance how much time you want to spend playing
  • Take regular breaks while playing and keep track of your playing time
  • Do not play under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or when tired
  • Before starting any game, make sure you understand the rules and how the game works
  • If you feel you do not have your gaming fully under control, do not hesitate to seek help promptly from the contact points listed below

How Do I Know If I Might Have a Gambling Problem?

  • Does gaming take up all your free time, causing you to lose interest in your hobbies?
  • Is gaming an escape for you from dealing with serious personal problems?
  • Do you neglect work, family, school, or other responsibilities because of gaming?
  • In the event of a loss, do you feel an urgent need to keep playing?
  • Have you ever been in a situation where you had to borrow money to play?
  • Have you ever lied or felt reluctant to admit the amount of money you have spent on gaming or the time you have spent playing?
  • Do your loved ones express concerns about your gaming?
  • Do you feel remorse or depression because of your gaming?

If you answered yes to more than one of the above questions, it is possible that you have, or may soon develop, a gambling problem. If you believe you might have a problem with gaming, it is time to seek professional help.
